QUALIFICATIONS

·        Minimum three years of experience supervising others.

·        Minimum three years of program management with experience in budget, work plans, and reporting.

·        Previous work experience in First Nations communities.

·        Demonstrates an understanding of the social determinants of health and how they may impact First Nations people.

·        Education in management, native studies, or a health-related field in combination with experience would be an asset.

 

ADDITIONAL SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Knowledge of the organization (strategic priorities, values, goals, services, and programs
  • Ability to speak and understand the Cree language is a definite asset.
  • Ability to lead, mentor and support employees.
  • Professional oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent conflict resolution and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work within a team environment
  • Ability to adapt to and manage change.
  • Successful criminal record check with vulnerable sector.
  • Valid Class 5 Saskatchewan driver’s license and ability to travel.
