Competitive 6-Step Salary Grid: $46,009.60 - $54,6554.60

Qualifications and Skills

- Minimum Grade 12 Diploma

- Completed Water Quality Certification or the eligibility and willingness to achieve Water Quality Certification.

- Previous work experience in First Nations communities.

- Demonstrates an understanding of the social determinants of health and how they may impact First Nations people.

- Must be able to work as an effective team member and to work independently, in a self-motivated manner.

- Liaises with Environmental Public Health Officer, Water Treatment Plant Operators, and members of the health team on a regular basis concerning water quality.

- Be familiar with database maintenance i.e., Hedgehog database.

- Must possess knowledge in reporting requirements.

- Possess a valid driver’s license.

- Provide a clear criminal record check with vulnerable sector.
