Primary Care Registered Nurse
Qualifications,Education, Experience, Skills and Abilities:
· Minimum: Bachelor of Science in Nursing(BSN), registered or eligible for registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan (CRNS).
· 3 to 5 years’ recent experience in primary care, public health,community health, or chronic disease management, preferably with First Nationsclients
· Strong knowledge of cultural safety, trauma-informed care, andIndigenous health principles, with the ability to integrate Indigenous ways ofknowing into practice.
· Excellent communication, assessment, and documentation skills, withthe ability to provide nonjudgmental, client-centered care.
· Knowledge ofthe organization (strategic priories, values, goals, services and programs),health care and First Nations culture
· Advanced knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook ,Excel) Publisher, and technological platforms such as Microsoft Teams, WebEx, etc. with a general aptitude for expanding use of software applications toenhance efficiencies.
· A clear understanding of Primary Health Care
· Demonstrated ability to handle highly sensitive information and documents exercising confidentiality, discretion, good judgement, tact, courtesy and diplomacy at all times.
· Demonstrate a high degree of flexibility and adaptability to balance thechanging needs of the organization.
· Willingness to travel and possession of a valid Class 5 driver'slicense, work flexible hours, possibility of some evenings and weekends.
· Must provide a clear criminal record check with vulnerable sector.
