Battle River Treaty 6 Health Centre is recruiting a

Permanent Full Time Cultural Program Clerk

Competitive 6 Step Salary Range: $43,934.80 - $52,161.20

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS & ABILITIES:

·        Provide clerical support for cultural programs.

·        Assist with coordination of cultural events and ceremonies.

·        Create promotional materials.

·        Maintain program records and reports.

·        Order supplies.

·        Support Elders and Facilitators.

·        Welcome clients and provide information.

·        Knowledge of First Nations Culture & Language would be an asset.

·        Maintain a culturally safe environment.

·        Work collaboratively with the Cultural Program Manager.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

·        Knowledge of BRT6HC Services.

·        Diploma in administration or related field.

·        2 years experience working with the public.

·        Knowledge of First Nations culture.

·        Microsoft Office proficiency.

·        Strong communication skills.

·        Ability to maintain confidentiality.

·        Experienced in working with First Nations people and groups.

·        Valid Class 5 Driver’s License.

·        Successful criminal record check with vulnerable sector.
