Jordan's Principle Service Coordinator

Qualifications, Experience, Additional Skills, and Abilities:
• University degree in a human service field or an equivalent combination of experience and education. College diploma/certificate may be considered.
• Knowledge of the organization (strategic priories, values, goals, services, and programs), health care and First Nations culture.
• Previous working experience with First Nations people and demonstrate an understanding of the health and social issues encountered by First Nation people and a willingness to learn about and accept First Nations cultures.
• Experience in case conferencing management
- Maintain invoices, receipts and other required items for audit purposes.
- Manage and track financial funds provided through approved Jordans Principle applications
- Knowledge of collaborative and child and family-centered practices and a clear understanding of Federal, Provincial and First Nations Heath Care Systems.
- Abilities and behaviours associated with the core competencies with an emphasis upon: Client Focused and Cultural Competency, Communication, Collaboration and Teamwork, Problem Solving, Interpersonal Relationships, Planning and Organizing, Leadership and Learning
- Demonstrated ability to handle highly sensitive information and documents exercising confidentiality, discretion, good judgement, and exercising tact, courtesy, and diplomacy at all times.
- Demonstrate a high degree of flexibility and adaptability to balance the changing needs of the organization.
- Advanced knowledge and Proficiency in Microsoft Office and technological platforms such as Microsoft Teams and WebEx
- Ability to speak Cree is a definite asset
- A successful criminal record check with vulnerable sector.
- Must possess a valid Class 5 Saskatchewan driver’s license
- Must be able to work independently and with minimal supervision
