(6 Step Salary Range: $65,374.40 - $77,641.20)

Qualifications

·        Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work or related disciplines; must be registered or eligible to register with a professional licensing body such as SASW or FNWACCB

·        Assist clients in addressing emotional, psychological, and relationship difficulties, utilizing a range of counselling methods and models.

·        Knowledgeable in both mental health and addiction services

·        Demonstrate a high degree of flexibility and adaptability to balance the changing needs of the organization

·        Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including database management

·        Effective communication skills, both written and verbal

·        Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of traditional Indigenous values, beliefs, language, and healing approaches

·        Previous working experience with First Nations people and demonstrate an understanding of the health and social issues encountered by First Nations people, and a willingness to learn about and accept First Nations cultures

·        Ability to adhere to confidentiality guidelines.

·        Valid Class 5 driver’s license with a clean driver's abstract

·        A successful criminal record with a vulnerable sectors check
